Arlie G. Sterling, as President and co-founder of Marsoft Inc., leads the development and commercialization of Marsoft’s decision support and risk management services for the maritime industry. Dr. Sterling has an S.B. from MIT, an M.S. from Northwestern and a Ph.D. in Applied Economics from MIT Sloan School. Marsoft prepares clients for the lending and investment decisions they face in this volatile and cyclical industry by signaling the key risks and structural changes and the potential impact of geopolitical instability. Marsoft CleanCo (MCC) is the latest addition to the Marsoft line of services, inspired by the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) research on retrofitting ships for reduced fuel consumption and carbon emissions.
